Why we're building Nexometry.
We started Nexometry because the software running most optical practices gets in the way of the work. Our aim is a single system that fits how a practice already runs, from the front desk to the exam room to the back office.
Our mission
Give optical practices one place to run appointments, prescriptions, sales, and stock, so the details move with the patient instead of being copied between systems. The people at the desk and in the exam room should spend their attention on care, not on the tools.
Where we're headed
We want a local eye-care business to run on software that feels made for it. As practices add branches, staff, and services, the platform should grow with them and stay easy to use. We're building toward that one release at a time, guided by the practices we work with.
What we care about
A few principles that shape how we build, and how we decide what to leave out.
Respect the front desk
Speed matters most where the queue forms. Screens stay quick to read and quick to act on, even on a busy morning.
Keep clinical detail precise
Prescriptions are shown the way optometrists read them, with values laid out clearly so the numbers are never in question.
Let owners see the business
The day's numbers are visible while the day is still running, so managers can act on what's happening rather than reading about it later.
Build alongside real practices
We work with the people who run optical businesses and shape the product around how they actually operate, day to day.
Who is building this
A team of three, in Singapore. We have not launched and we have no customers yet, so there is no track record to point at — and we would rather say that than dress it up.
What the product does and does not do today is set out on the home page. What we can and cannot yet say about protecting practice data is on the privacy page. Both are deliberately specific about the gaps.

We're happy to talk through what Nexometry does today and what's next.
